We stopped by as Anu was putting the finishing touches to the interior design. It’s not fully completed, there was still some work going on late into the night but it was almost there!

CityTV’s Breakfast Television to visit job site tomorrow

The Breakfast Television crew will be on-site tomorrow (Aug 12) to broadcast live from the 5 Day Build. Come out between 7am and 9am to show your support for this project and to be on TV!

7 Hours in and no sign of letting up…

It’s a family affair at the 5 Day build.

Ryan and Tiffany Holland’s daughter is in charge of lollipop distribution to the crew, and the Red Bull girls are here to dish out some energy drinks…..

Day 1: Ahead of Schedule

So the guys and gals working on the 5DB were so enthusiastic about getting started that they commenced construction an hour ahead of schedule at 5AM this morning.

Work is continuing at quite the pace and the structure is already beginning to take shape.

This just in — on Monday morning Oshawa’s oldies station (CKDO 107.7FM/1580AM) will be airing their interview with one of the men behind the 5 Day Build, Hannu Halminen, founder of Halminen Homes. KX 96 (95.9FM), the GTA’s only country station, will also be airing the interview with Mr. Halminen that morning.

Tune in between 9am and 10am (sorry we can’t be more specific!) and learn all about the Build from the big man himself.
